[Class 146 (ii)] In an identification sea for animals comprising one member having two parallel sleeves 1, 2 pro jecting from a plate 3, and a second member consisting of a plate 5 provided with openings 10, 11 through which the ends of the sleeves are passed to be beaded on the outer side of the plate 5, the plate 3 has its outer edges tangential to the peripheral edges of the sleeves 1, 2 whereby there are no projecting flanges around the sleeves which could be caught on wire fencework or the like when the seal is on the ear of an animal.
