[Class 78 (i)] [Also in Group XIII] Printed sheets are carried through a drying- chamber 2, Fig. 1, containing heaters 7, in the spaces between rows of wires 12 fixed to bars 11 carried by four pairs of endless chains 16 ... 19 arranged one within another as shown in Fig. 2, the distance between adjacent rows of wires 12 being therefore one quarter that between consecutive bars 11 ; bent wires fixed to the bars 11 lie across the wires and prevent the sheets from falling between the bars.
