[Class 83 (ii)] A junction box for electrical wiring is formed from a blank A of sheet metal of substantially cruciform shape, the wings 3 of which are formed with extensions 3a which are rolled to form tubular portions 3b which are ultimately tapped to receive screws for securing the cover plate in position, the wings being bent up and the vertical edges of the box welded.
