[Class 117] In a plansifter, the tray 1 is provided with hollow corner blocks open at the top 3 to receive stock from the sieve and open at the bottom 5 to discharge stock into the brush-swept area. The blocks are formed by strips 2 of bent sheet metal and house agitating means such as a trapped marble 4. The tray may be provided with a central brush guide as described in Specification 462,388.
