[Class 37] The electrolyte comprises a film of finely divided crystalline material, such as ammonium borate or acetate, sodium borate, acetate, phosphate or oxalate or Rochelle salt, wetted by a concentrated aqueous solution of the same material. A porous spacer may be used and this may be perforated with a series of holes. Reference has been directed by the Comptroller to British Specifications 311,778, [Class 37], and 388,395, and U.S.A. Specification 1,850,298.
