Abstract
461,403. Handbags &c. UNITED-CARR FASTENER CORPORATION. April 27, 1936, No. 11922. Convention date, May 10, 1935. [Class 133] The end arms 11, 13 Fig. 5, of the mouthframe of a handbag, &c. terminate respectively in apertured ears 12 and hollow bearings 14, pivotally connected together by upset rivets 15 which may be of the hollow variety. The outer walls 4 of the frames have turned-over flanges 6, Fig. 4, so that the covering material 2 projects over the inner walls, and the frames are provided with cams 7, concealed within the bag, for holding it closed when in engagement. Reference has been directed by the Comptroller to Specification 440,001.
