459,477. Moulding chocolate. LEHMANN, F. B., (trading as LEHMANN, J. M., [Firm of]), 108, Freiberger Strasse, Dresden, Germany. May 28, 1936, No. 15038. Convention date, May 28, 1935. [Class 87 (ii)] A device for inverting filled chocolate moulds 4, for draining off excess chocolate in the manufacture of hollow chocolate articles, comprises two guide rails 2 located symmetrically to, and embracing top and bottom of a mould 4, the guide rails being fixed to two coaxial shafts 2<1> which perform semi-rotations interrupted by dwells. Two slide blocks 1 are freely movable between two terminal positions in grooves 3 in the rails 2 and lie in the path of feed of the mould. The blocks are pushed along as the mould enters between the rails. The grooves 3 do not extend to the ends of the rails so that the blocks cannot move out. On inverting, the blocks prevent the mould slipping through the guides and, after inversion, the blocks are in position for receiving the next mould and the inverted mould is removed.
