Abstract

458,518. Ornamenting harness. MOSELEY, Ltd., F., and COUSINS, E., 47, Bath Street, Walsall. July 23,1935, No. 20853. [Class 93] [See also Group I] Harness for dogs or horses is decorated with faceted stones which project through holes in a strap and are secured by wires or metal strips located between the strap and a backing attached thereto. As applied to a dog collar, a series of stones 13 each mounted in a base 16 are threaded on a pair of wires 14 which are located between the apertured front strap 6 and a backing strap 9. In another form, the stone 19 is held in a cup 23 carried by a metal strip 25. The stones may be formed from coloured glass, and may be silvered or gilt to act as reflectors.
