458,517. Wire fencing. GRIMSHAW, E. U., Officers' Club, Catterick Camp, Yorkshire. July 17, 1935, No. 20359. [Class 45] A fence or screen comprises a reticulated structure such as wire netting 4 or expanded metal, and flexible strips 5 of metal, rubber, wood &c., threaded through the interstices of the reticulated structure. The strips may be arranged in rows which cross each other. The top edge of the fence may be finished off with a horizontal trimming strip or wire. The width of the strips may be varied according to the degree of screening required. Additional strips or wires may couple the fence to an overhead supporting wire carried by the fence posts, in order to give additional support to the fence. The strips may be omitted from some rows in order to diminish wind resistance.
