458,465. Endless chain elevators. WHITE, A. F., 926, Bank of Hamilton Building, Toronto, Canada. March 24, 1936, No. 8818. Convention date, April 18, 1935. [Class 78 (i)] The flights D are inclined to the horizontal and fit fairly closely the rising leg of the elevator casing A. Material to be raised is admitted to the boot through a shoot K, and is discharged through a shoot M. Each flight is bolted to lugs formed on, or secured to, links of the chain C, and is made of metal, wood, fibre or hard rubber. When the flights are made of metal, they are covered with rubber thickened at the edges, which is, preferably, vulcanized on.
