[Class 44] A wire fastener for securing together toilet paper, memoranda and like sheets is bent at its outer end to provide downwardly diverging arms 8, 9 to facilitate removal, by pulling a sheet, without tearing off a portion of the sheet. The wire 3 passes, preferably obliquely as shown, through perforations 2 in the sheets 1, the inner one being bent to form a suspension eye 4. The limb 16 of eye 4 may be short as shown or extended. to bear against the rear face of the bundle. The Specification describes alternative forms to which the diverging arms which may be symmetrical as shown, or unsymmetrical.
