[Class 43] [See also Group XXII] In mounting a stone in a foundation of plastic material, metal, or alloy, the recess in the mould is so formed that the base of the stone K (or, in the case of a fully formed stone, its widest part) does not project above the surface of the mould, the upper perimeter of the recess being provided with a dished sinking L of wedge-shaped cross section, sinkings radial to the recess, sinkings forming parts of spheres, spheroids or ellipsoids, or a combination of the dished sinking and deeper radial sinkings, so producing in the finished article correspondingly shaped parts which secure the stone in the foundation. The sinkings may be plain or ornamental. Specification 377,621 is referred to.
