[Class 39 (iii)] An electric heating system comprises a single rotary switch and three or more heating elements 6 7, and 8 which are connected in series or parallel by the switch to provide four degrees of heat, one of the resistance 8, which is remotely situated, being connected in series with the other resistances for providing a minimum heating. The system may be applied to the hot-plates of a cooker and the resistance 8 may be placed in a hot cupboard. Specification 395,756 is referred to.
