455,733. Extruding cattle food &c. PORTEUS, G., Leeds Bridge Works, Hunslet, Leeds. Oct. 1, 1935, No. 27030. [Class 87 (ii)] Cattle and poultry food and the like is pressed into granular or pellet form by co - operating toothed cvlindrical members 4, 5. The food is forced through radial holes formed in one or both members at the bottoms of the spaces between the teeth and is cut off by knives 10, 11. The inner member 5 may be driven by a shaft 6 and the outer member 4 may run on a track 9. The teeth may be vertical or inclined. A plurality of inner members may be provided.
