Abstract

Electrolytically deposited nickel or other metal sheets are heated in vacuo or in an oil or salt bath to remove excess of hydrogen before mechanical working. If they are to be used as anodes, they are again impregnated with hydrogen by annealing at a low temperature in that gas.
