452,926. Curtain runners. HUDSON, L. G., 117, Curtain Road, London. March 1, 1935, No. 6550. [Class 52 (v)] Curtain master runners of the kind adapted to run in a slotted trough and be clamped to the drawcord g, which passes through a horizontal hole f in the runner, by a set screw h have lateral grooves e formed in the body of the runner adapted to run on the edges of the slot c so that the weight of the curtain is distributed evenly between both edges of the slot. The edges of the slot c in the box-shaped trough a are rounded to form runways and the runners have eyelets j for the curtain hooks. Pulley devices k, each comprising a square base from which project lugs forming bearings for, the pulleys, are secured in the ends of the trough by eyelets s and guide the cord g, the pair of pulleys n being separated by a wall p. In a modification a cylindrical runner is provided with an annular groove to engage the edges of the slot. Specification 23295/00, [Class 52], is referred to.
