[Class 144 (ii)] A pneumatic tyre cover is composed of superposed layers of bias-cut fabric 1, 2, 3, 4, the warp threads of which cross the tread at a large angle, and interposed side wall reinforcements in the form of a plurality of elements 5, 5a and 6, 6<a>, looped or doubled upon beads 11. The cords of the elements comprising each loop extend obliquely from the bead in opposite directions and at different angles from the cords of the elements of the remaining loops, and the elements are so arranged that the cords of at least one of the elements in each loop cross the warp threads of one of the adjacent layers of fabric in the opposite direction and at an angle which differs from the angle or angles at which the cords of the remaining elements cross the adjacent warp threads of the remaining layers.
