450,994. Clamps or cappings for ropes. GUTEHOFFNUNGSHUTTE OBERHAUSEN AKT.-GES., Oberhausen, Rhineland, Germany.-(Assignees of Otto, F.) May 8, 1935, No. 13575. Convention date, May 8, 1934. [Classes 44 and 109] A rope clamp or capping for miners' cages, and in which the rope 9 is clamped between a centre piece 2 and a surrounding hood 3 from which the cage is suspended, is provided with one or more additional devices 7 for securing the tail end of the rope to a part of the clamp. Each device 7 has a clamping surface shaped to conform to the shape of the rope. Specification 382,139 is referred to. The Specification as open to inspection under Sect. 91, comprises also subject matter now included in Specification 13576/35. This subject-matter does not appear in the Specification as accepted.
