445,113. Packeting. COLE, C. W., Stansfield, Rotchell Park, Dumfries. Oct. 2, 1934, Nos. 28229/34 and 1078/35. [Class 94 (i)] [See also Group II] A table is rocked or vibrated about a single pivotal support or axis by electromagnets disposed below the table. In the form shown, a chest n containing tea is clamped on a table a provided with pole-pieces d co-operating with an electromagnet c<3> below the centre of each edge of the table which thereby receives a swashing movement about its central ball and socket support e, f when the electromagnets are energized in sequence. The movement is limited by buffers below each corner of the table. In a modified form the tabie is pivoted for " see saw" movement about a horizontal axis.
