Abstract

440,414. Display stands. LYONS & CO., Ltd., J., Cadby Hall, Kensington, London, and JENKINS, A. J., 9, Cavendish Gardens, Ilford, Essex. June 21, 1934, No. 18375. [Class 52 (v)] A shelf arrangement for shop windows and the like comprises shelves b, c mounted on rotatable supporting columns a so as to form a number of rotatable units, the shelves of each unit being staggered relatively to those of adjacent units to permit free rotation of each of the units independently of the others. The shelves are located by projections n in and upon frames k which are secured to two supporting rods a. The rods a are joined together at each end by a cross-piece d carrying a trunnion e which engages a bearing in an upper shelf g and in the floor of the window. Where three units are mounted in the same window the outer two have shelves extending forwardly and rearwardly and the inner one has shelves extending forwardly only. Tubular lamps h may be arranged between the supporting rods a of each unit. Removable boards r for buns may be arranged to slide between the units on the floor of the window.
