439,367. Tanks. LENTSCHEWSKY, B., 55, Leibnizstrasse, Charlottenberg, Berlin. June 26, 1934, No. 18884. [Class 69 (i)] Sealing means for the floating covers of liquid storage tanks are constituted by brushes including long tufts 5<a>, Fig. 1, and shorter supporting tufts 5b above and below the long tufts. The brush head may be secured by the bent edges of a metal strip 6 permanently secured to the cover 1. In another form, the shorter tufts are obliquely arranged as shown in Fig. 2, and the brush heads are secured directly to the cover.
