[Class 93] [See also Groups VIII and IX] A flexible fabric suitable for upholstery, floor or table mats or coverings, handbags, &c. comprises a plurality of rows consisting of pieces of leather, cloth or other flexible material attached to a backing sheet, e.g. of canvas, the rows being interwoven as shown so that the interstices between adjacent pieces in each row are concealed by the pieces of the rows interwoven therewith. The pieces may be secured to the backing by staples, by riveting, or by adhesives. The pieces may be of different sizes and shapes in different rows.
