437,412. Steam traps. WINGFIELD, B. R., and WINGFIELD, B. T., Brooklyn, The Green, West Drayton, Middlesex. Feb. 18, 1935, No. 5155. [Class 64 (ii)] In a steam trap having an inlet 2 and outlet 3, a plate 4 carries a bellows 7 filled with an expansible liquid. A spherical valve member 14 is carried by a metal strip 13 having a slot to engage a member 10 carried by the bellows. The strip 13 is guided by a bracket 18. To protect the soldered joint at the bottom of the bellows, plate 21 is fixed during formation of the bellows, and cap 22 is then spun on to the plate 21.
