435,235. Lids for electric batteries. EVER READY CO. (GREAT BRITAIN), Ltd., and ROWBOTHAM, E. N., Hercules Place, Holloway, London. Dec. 13, 1934, No. 35849. [Class 18] [See also Group XXXVI] A lid for an electric battery is constructed from a cardboard &c. blank which is perforated at 2a to take the usual terminal plugs, formed with flanges 3, 3c and extensions 3a to secure the side and end flanges together, and covered with a layer of wood veneer or a layer of paper, fabric, &c. marked or coloured to simulate a wooden or other ornamental surface. The covering is secured by adhesive and may be applied before the blank is cut out.
