[Class 73] A labelling device comprises a disc having a notch to receive a part of the animal &c. and means to close the notch. The disc 1, having the notch 4, is dished and formed with a peripheral groove in which slides a pointed wire 6, a finger piece 8 being provided. The wire is retained by a second disc secured by the outer edge of the groove.
