Abstract
433,480. Collapsable tubes or containers. DUCKHAM, A., and DUCKHAM & CO., Ltd., A., 16, Cannon Street, London. March 19, 1934, No. 8498. [Class 11] [See also Group XVII] A flexible container for oils &c. comprises a tube a formed by uniting to one another e.g. by elastic glue, a plurality of layers of paper &c., e.g. kraft or manilla, the marginal portions b, b<1> at the open ends of the tube being pressed and secured together in planes substantially at right angles to each other. The ends may be secured by U -shaped metal strips c or one side at each end of the tube may project beyond the other to be lapped thereover and secured by glue, staples &c. The container may be filled, after both ends have been closed, through a suitable aperture in the side wall which is subsequently sealed. Specification 310,976, [Class 11], is referred to.
