Abstract

Concentrated derris root extracts emulsifiable with water are obtained by adding weakly acid alkali-resin soaps to derris extracts obtained by means of and containing diortrichloro-ethylene. The use of the soaps referred to avoids the liability to formation of explosive chloracetylene which arises when alkaline soaps are employed.
