429,564. Preventing and removing incrustation. RITTER, J. GERBER-, 15, Jurastrasse, Berne, Switzerland. Oct. 8, 1934, No. 28815. Convention date, Oct. 6, 1933. [Class 123 (i)] Incrustation in boilers and the like is prevented or removed by connecting one lead of a source of alternating current of 110 or 220 volts through several condensers of 50-1000 cm. capacity in parallel to the object in contact with water. The second lead is connected to an insulated electrode in the water, through a resistance which allows the passage of a current of about 150 milliamperes. In the Specification as open to inspection under Sect. 91, the condensers and resistances are stated to be adjustable. This subjectmatter does not appear in the Specification as accepted.
