[Class 84] [See also Groups XXVI and XXIX] In a pulsator for milking - machine teat cups of the kind set forth in Specification 262,515, [Class 84], the valves r, s of the valve member are connected to each other by longitudinally extending wires or rods t, the ball, piston or like member u being located between these valves. The wires or rods tare accommodated in slits q, q<1>, formed at the wall of the casing d containing the valve member between the edges of two liners p therein. The casing d may be held in position by a screw k or by a spring. The valve members may consist of discs r, s, with conical projec - tions r<1>, s<1> or with resiliently mounted projecting balls held in position by spring wires. In a modification (Fig. 6, not shown) a small tappet valve may be provided over the air hole in passage i<1> in the valve plug g, the valve rising from its seat when air is drawn through the passage i on exhaustion of the interior c of the teat cup by a vacuum pump communicating therewith by the connection x on the plug.
