[Class 132 (ii)] In a game simulating billiards, the balls are replaced by cylindrical members N, Fig. 6, recessed at R, to house weighting discs Q for varying their loading. Coloured identifying discs P cover the weighting discs. The members N are made of wood, metal, ivory or of compositions such as the materials known under the Registered Trade Marks " Ivorine," and " Xylonite " and are projected over a smooth surfaced board by hand or cue. The board comprises a base A which rests upon or is rigid with a frame B and legs C, and upon which a sheet of linoleum D forming the playing surface is clamped at E<1> by the walls E. The cushions are formed by rubber tubing H flanges G on which are glued into grooves E<2> in the walls E. The pockets J are formed of netting having a leather or fabric top L secured to a metal bracket M screwed to adjacent walls E to which the cushion ends are secured at K. The playing surface may alternatively be of polished wood or metal. According to the first Provisional Specification the playing surface may be made of the material known under the Registered Trade Mark " Bakelite," and if desired covered with cloth or enamel, while the cylindrical playing pieces may be made in two circular parts screwed or otherwise jointed together to enclose a weight receiving space, and so formed externally as to produce a suction effect when played. According to the second Provisional Specification the playing pieces may be loaded eccentrically.
