Abstract
425,415. Photographic cameras. EBNER, A., 20, Klopstockstrasse, Stuttgart, Germany. Sept. 14, 1933, Nos. 25427, 25428, and 25429. Convention dates, Sept. 14, 1932, Sept. 14, 1932, and Sept. 15, 1932. [Class 98 (i)] The casing of a roll film camera consists of a main middle part and a closing flap of the same height and width on either side, the outer surface of the casing being curved or cambered in all directions and free from projections. The parts of the casing are preferably made from moulded material, such as artificial resin or celluloid. A film-moving knob b and a focusing knob f, Fig. 6, are mounted in slots passing through the casing so that, although they do not project beyond the contour of of the case they may be gripped from both sides. The knob f, which adjusts the focus by means of a lazy tongs mechanism, carries a scale cooperating with an index mark g impressed near a window in the side wall of the casing. As shown in Figs. 11 and 12, the main part and the closing flaps adapted to be hinged to the main part at the bottom are made of metal 19 coated with moulded material 20. The metal parts are provided with the necessary bearing brackets, &c., for the camera parts and are provided at intervals with holes through which the moulded material connects up for strength. The Specification as open to inspection under Sect. 91 also describes the collapsable view finder shown in Fig. 8, (Cancelled). The sighting aperture t is in a plate connected by pivoted links n, o to the camera casing. When not in use the plate and links n, o, are received in recesses in the side of the camera casing, a spring m serving to maintain the links in either the erect or collapsed position. This subject-matter does not appear in the Specification as accepted.
