[Class 120 (iii)] A spool for plaster has end discs a of polygonal shape, preferably hexagonal or octagonal. The end discs are preferably of metal and have their corners rounded and their edges turned over. The core may be of wood or metal, and it may be provided over its whole length or at its ends only with flat portions c, or with projections, which engage in suitably shaped openings in the end discs to prevent relative rotation. The sides of the spool discs may be straight, or they may curve inwardly or have projections.
