[Class 132 (ii)] [See also Group VI] A bridge scoring and marking device comprises a casing containing a plate in which are openings 3, 4 revealing rotatable discs 8 carrying the digits " 1 " and "0," each disc relating to the games won by one pair of partners. Other discs show through openings 5, 6 the suit and the number of tricks bid, and a disc 11 indicates " doubled " and " not doubled through an opening 7. The discs 8 are rotated by turning their knurled edges 10 and the disc 11 is moved by a knob at the back of the casing. The edge of the plate is marked with scoring numbers, and two differently coloured pointers 14, 15, one for each side, are moved adjacent these numbers by knobs at the front and back of the casing. In a modification, one of the scoring pointers is painted on the rotatable cover glass of the device, and there are two sets of scoring numbers, one relating to " contract " and the other to " plafond." The device may be attached to an ash-tray. The Specification as open to inspection under Sect. 91 describes a further modification in which the points scored are indicated by discs. This subject-matter does not appear in the Specification as accepted.
