[Class 55 (ii)] Brushes with bristles 4 radiating from a core 3 are used in combination with layers 2 of wood-wool or other filling, in gas washers of the kind described in Specification 387,517. Vegetable or coated metal bristles may be used, and the brushes may be flexible.
