[Class 18.] A metal coffin comprises two parts 2, 2<a> each made in one piece and detachably held together by bolts 4 passing through flanges provided on the outside of the walls of each part, the joint between the two parts being formed by an integral projecting lip 3 on one part engaging a groove formed in the thickness of the material of the other part. A plastic material may be disposed at the bottom of the groove of the joint and the bolts 4 may be hidden in recesses in the flanges.
