411,236. Packing-cases. VENESTA, Ltd., Vintry House, Queen Street Place, and BARBER, H. J., 16, Allington Road, Hendon Central, both in London. Feb. 22, 1933, No. 5429. [Class 18.] A packing-case or box has a longitudinally sliding lid C which is notched at the ends C<0> of one edge so that when slid from the case, the notched ends of the lid may be dropped into grooves, notches or guideways D formed in or secured to two opposing walls of the case to hold the lid in a more or less erect position for display purposes. As shown the lid slides in stamped metal plates A<1>, B<1> attached to the upper edges of two opposite sides of the case and the guideways D are formed by notches cut in the other two sides of the case and closed by the battens E.
