K., 25, Collingham Gardens, Earl's Court, WENDER, E., 62A, Finchley Road, St. John's Wood, and BRITISH ACOUSTIC FILMS, Ltd., 142, Wardour Street, all in London. Aug. 10, 1933, No. 22397. [Class 97 (i).] A kinematograph film spool consists of two substantially symmetrical parts 1, 2 moulded of the material known under the Registered Trade Mark " Bakelite " or of the like artificial resin. Each part comprises a flange 3 and a hub-portion 5. Each flange 3 has holes 12 and each hub portion a slit 7 parallel to the axis and also the recess 9. A flexible and elastic leading strip 8 is provided at one end with a thicker end portion which fits into the recess 9 and at the other end with a spring clip 10 for clamping the film. The two sections are held together either by screws 11 or by resilient plugs and sockets.
