[Class 97 (i).] In apparatus capable of use as a camera or as a projector, and in which a feed claw is disposed behind the film, the claw and a filmlocating pin are respectively operated by a cam and by a cam or a projection, both being carried by a rotary disc and being so located thereon that the claw and pin engage the film alternately. As shown, the apparatus comprises feed claws p carried by an arm p<2> which has a slot p<3> engaging a pin p<4> on a frame plate r, and is moved by a cam q engaging in a rectangular opening p<1> and eccentrically mounted on a rotating disc q<1>. The disc q<1> also carries a cam or projection q<2> engaging a spring-controlled arm q<3> formed with a film-locating pin q<4> and pivoted on the plate r ; a finger projection q<5> permits removal of the pin q4 from the film track during threading. The film track comprises a resilient plate or channel e held by a plate e<1> and having a free lower end engaging a stop i ; exposure openings are formed in the plates e, e<1> and in a flange r<1> of the plate r. The film passes to the film track from a spool box b over a roller d, and passes from it over a roller h to a spool g, tension being maintained by the resilience of the plate e. The mechanism is driven by a spring motor or by a handle s having an end s<1> applicable to a spindle of the gear train ; the handle also has an end s<2> by which it may be applied to the feed spool for rewinding. Arms u, v may be provided to hold the spool boxes in position, and the arm u permits winding on to the take-up spindle without the use of a spool box. A removable tube m containing a lamp and lens system, and a film-feed indicator w are provided.
