Abstract

398,763. Bottle-carriers. PHILLIPS, P. B. and APPLETON, H., 277, High Street, Rochester, Kent. April 11, 1933, No. 10814. [Class 138 (i).] A bottle-carrier for use in bottle-washing machines comprises a frame having tapered bottle-receiving sockets, the lower edges of which are notched to allow the escape of cleansing liquid and pieces of labels. In the construction shown, the carrier frame 10 comprises bars 11 arranged transversely and longitudinally and joined by tapered socket members 12 which are notched at 13. The frame carries rollers 16 for engaging runways 17 on the bottle-washing machine. A wire cage 18 is supported by the frame 10 by means of vertical wires 19 fitting in holes 20. The cage may support an auxiliary wire frame 21.
