[Class 38 (ii).] A variable condenser com prises two disc-shaped arma tures 2, 3 one secured directly to a mounting 1 the other capable of being moved relatively to the fixed disc as by a screw 5 and being sup ported by being fixed either to a spring 4 as shown or to a central spring-pressed spindle slidable axially. Reference has been directed by the Comptroller to Specifications 237,714, 255,413, 289,177, and 302,482, [all in Class 38 (ii), Electric currents, Converting &c.].
