Abstract

398,351. Displaying wool &c. MAYNE, J. E. and MAYNE, M., Brook Cottage, Littleham, Exmouth, Devonshire. Oct. 12, 1932, No. 28500. [Class 3 (ii).] A sample card for wool and like textile material is provided with one or a number of perforations each having a short slit extending outwardly therefrom for gripping a selected sample, after it has been passed through the perforation, by virtue of the inherent resilience of the card. As shown, various types and colours of wool are secured on the card by a wire clip 4 and the ends of selected sample 8 are passed through the holes 5 and pulled into the slits 6. Ruling may be provided on the card, preferably on the back, in register with each hole to form a space in which may be marked the required quantities of the selected materials.
