Abstract
392,810. Television. ARDENNE, M. VON, 19, Jungfernstieg, Lichterfelde, Berlin. Oct. 3, 1932, No. 27383. Convention date, Oct. 6, 1931. Drawings to Specification. [Class 40 (iii).] Relates to the television system in which a spot of light of constant intensity scans a field of view with a varying speed under the control of two oscillations, one producing linear movement of the light spot and the other producing movement transverse to the lines. The two oscillations comprise frequency bands which overlap. According to the invention, the frequency bands of the two oscillations are so selected that they may be modulated on to a single carrier frequency and separated after demodulation. Preferably the oscillation controlling movement transverse to the lines is restricted to a frequency band of 0À750 cycles per second and the other oscillation does not comprise frequencies lower than 1,000 cycles per second. This selection of frequency band width and separation at the receiver is effected by the use of filter circuits. Specification 355,319 is referred to.
