Coating-compositions for sheets of cellulose material such as woven or knitted textiles, paper, cellulose derivatives, and regenerated cellulose comprise nitrocellulose, diamethyl phthalate, a wax such as paraffin or ceresin wax, and a solvent such as butyl acetate. Plasticizers such as triphenyl phosphate may be added.
