[Class 35.] A cover for an electric motor comprises a cupshaped member a embracing the motor and having extensions b for fixing purposes, the motor being rigidly mounted in the cupshaped member to form a unitarv structure. The cover is particularly applicable for mounting a motor as described in Specification 384,880 and for that purpose it has an apertured boss e to receive the core of the motor. The base is also formed with an aperture f for the supply conductors and holes g for the passage of screws. The extensions b are bent to form fixing lugs c.
