Abstract

388,544. Wadding. SHAW, J. W., Barrington, Broadway, Bramhall, Cheshire. Jan. 16, 1932, No. 1334. [Class 142 (iv).] Wadding made from cotton, cotton waste, &c. is sized at the back in the usual way and has its fleecy face lightly sprayed with a thin surfacing solution of a size or binding or skinning agent such as a weak solution of animal size, dextrin, gum tragacanth, tragasol, or water alone. The impregnated face is then dried. Stationary or movable sprayers or sprinklers, or nozzles fed with impregnating solution under pressure may be used.
