Abstract

388,330. Bathing-caps. AVON INDIA RUBBER CO., Ltd., Melksham, Wiltshire, and CASEY, T. W., Fairlawn, Summit, Ohio, U.S.A. Sept. 15, 1932, No. 25705. [Class 63.] A rubber bathing-cap is provided with a textile fabric lining member 11, which can stretch circumferentially of the cap, the edge of the lining being sewn to the edge of the cap by means of longitudinally expansible stitching 13. The lining member 11, preferably, is formed of a pair of substantially similar front parts 18, and a pair of substantially similar rear parts 19, all of these parts being united by stitching 23, 24. The lining 11 may be suitably waterproofed, preferably in such a manner that the fabric is not noticeably stiffened or changed in its character.
