387,067. Decolorizing glass. DEUTSCHE GASGLœHLICHT - AUER - GES., 16, Rotherstrasse, Berlin. Nov. 19, 1931, No. 32129. Convention date, Oct. 10. [Class 56.] Glass is decolorized by adding cerium, selenium, and a trivalent rare earth such as lanthanum, neodymium, or praseodymium. The cerium may be added in the form of byproducts obtained in the manufacture of thorium.
