Abstract

A boot adapted to hold a dressing for the treatment of foot-rot in sheep comprises a wooden sole formed with a central rib to fit the cleft of the hoof and attached to an upper part of leather or rubber provided with a tongue or cushion to fit between the pastern and the hoof. The boot may be secured by lacing or by a strap.
