Abstract

385,732. Casting composite articles. COVENTRY RADIATOR & PRESSWORK CO., Ltd. and PARKINSON, A., Raglan Works, Lower Ford Street, Coventry. Dec. 14,1931, Nos. 34585/31 and 2116/32. [Class 83 (i).] The wall of a radiator or condenser is formed by casting it around a number of brass sockets 13 which serve for jointing the tubes 4. The sockets are arranged in any desired fashion on a flat moulding surface and molten metal run in. Aluminium or aluminium alloy is a suitable material for the wall.
