384,884. Sewing-machines. PFAFF AKT.-GES., G. M., 140, Wittelsbacher Strasse, Kaiserslautern, Germany. April 8, 1932, No. 10166. Convention date, Nov. 30, 1931. [Class 112.] An endless-conveyer band is arranged to convey articles to be sewn to and from a group of sewing-machines arranged on tables on both sides of the band, both the upper and lower runs a, b of the band being used. As shown, the lower run b of the band runs over a guide table c between the tables e, f on which the machines are supported, and the upper run a runs over a guide table d at about the level of the reel pins of the sewing machines. The machines on one side of the conveyer use one run and those on the opposite side the other run, guards being provided on opposite sides of the conveyer band to facilitate this, and the finished articles are returned to the place where the working materials are supplied.
